(dirty rotten imbeciles) "una pandilla de sucios y asquerosos imbéciles"(1)

EL COMIENZO DE LA HISTORIA DE (D.R.I) Dirty rotten imbeciles,se organizaron como banda dos años antes de de formarse en 1982, ellos son de estados unidos mas precisamente de Houston Texas.
La alineación inicial consistía de Spike Cassidy (guitarra), Kurt Brecht (voz), Eric Brecht (batería) y Dennis Johnson (bajo).
El grupo empezó a tocar en la casa de los padres de Kurt y Eric. El ruido que hacía la banda era el motivo de las quejas habituales del padre de Kurt y Eric. Esto llevó a que la banda obtuviera su nombre, al describirles aquél como «una pandilla de sucios y asquerosos imbéciles (dirty rotten imbeciles)». Esto fue también la inspiración de la canción «Madman», en donde se mostraba un fragmento de una grabación del padre de Kurt y Eric interrumpiendo el ensayo de la banda para quejarse por el ruido que producían.

Ahora hablando de el crossover Thrash como subgenero,es en el Deaeling with iT en donde el plasma de thrash core comienza ha Transformarse, y el crosoverThrash comienza ha solidificarse y con ello, se seca el titulo hecho con marcador que dice que los dirty rotten imbeciles son los pioneros en el CROSSOVER THRASH; Con un LP homónimo (crossover).

Para realizar una perspectiva personal de los mejores Tracks de los D.R.I,podemos poner sobre la mesa ha Acid Rain,No Religion,Thrashard,Money Stinks (suena a un hard core,thrash core), Who Am I? y la mas buena de todas Abduction.

A pesar que los D.R.I. desde el noventa y cinco no saca discos nuevos vamos ha hacer una recopilacion de los siete primeros lps.

Dirty Rotten LP
solo se hicieron al rededor de 1000 copias de este EP que tiene 22 canciones y que se vendieron en muy poco tiempo, la tan minuciosa cantidad de ejemplares y lo valioso del material lo convierten en una valiosa pieza de colección.
